The Fuquay-Varina Coalition collaborates with community partners to reduce youth substance use in Fuquay-Varina by empowering the community and youth to educate others and change policies.

Community partners include local businesses, service organizations, faith-based organizations, youth, parents, schools, law enforcement, and others who care about the well-being of our youth.

Originally, visitors from near and far traveled to the quaint town that is now called Fuquay-Varina seeking the healing powers of the Fuquay Mineral Spring.

The town, located just 15 minutes south of Raleigh, has flourished into a vibrant, family-friendly community.

​Consistently rated as one of the best places to live and work in America, Wake County is home to NC State University, Research Triangle Park, and 2006 Stanley Cup Champions, the Carolina Hurricanes. Wake County is also the center of state government, with our Capitol Building, legislature and many government offices located in Raleigh.

Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a community that supports local businesses and private investment in our historic core. Since 1993, activities and programs created by Fuquay- Varina Downtown bring foot traffic and customers to our downtown core and educate residents on the importance of the support local movement.

N.C. Cooperative Extension is a collaborative effort between the state’s land-grant universities—North Carolina State University (NC State) and North Carolina A&T State University (NC A&T)—and county and tribal governments to bring research-based knowledge to citizens in communities throughout the state. The respective university Extension organizations—the Cooperative Extension Program at NC A&T and NC State Extension—have partnered to serve the state since 1914.

The mission of the Rotary Club of Fuquay-Varina is to “encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.” Rotary is a service organization. Since 1910, the Rotary Motto has been “Service Above Self”.  Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today’s most critical issues.
